The Ox-Tec Process is a way of increasing returns on complex, difficult-to-treat refractory ores. The patent pending process utilises economical, proven equipment and reagents to facilitate liberation of the precious metal from problematic mineral profiles.
Avoiding high capital expenditure & operating costs, Ox-Tec increases recovery rates via oxidation & dissolution of problematic sulphide minerals, at comparatively low temperatures, using less aggressive reagents & conventional equipment within the grinding mill circuit.
The Ox-Tec process is a financially sound and environmentally responsible treatment option which can be applied wherever the grade and refractory nature of the ore renders higher-intensity oxidation technologies un-economical.
Ox-Tec, from Oxidation Technologies Pty Ltd, offers an economical and comparatively simple solution to treating semi- and mixed-refractory sulphide ores to enable increased gold recovery via conventional leaching processes.
Ox-Tec differs from other refractory treatment processes which generally require high:
- initial and sustaining capital expenditure
- operating costs
- levels of technical skill to operate.
Ox-Tec uses industry-standard equipment, together with commonly available reagents, to achieve similar process outcomes to higher-cost process options.
The Ox-Tec process is patent-pending. Oxidation Technologies was a grateful recipient of the West Australian Government's "Innovation Vouchers Programme" Funding in 2020, helping support our ongoing activities to secure and develop our IP.
